Step right up and
Come on in
Here's where the fun begins

There's so much to do
Getting ready just for you
Everybody's busy
Bringing you a Disney afternoon (hey!)
Can't you feel the buzz
Well, you're gonna' feel the buzz because
Everybody's busy
Just a little dizzy
Bringing you a Disney afternoon

Hey, look, it's my second transformation! A transgender Minnie Mouse transformation! (Boy I hope that's obvious enough.) This is for a contest/challenge hosted by Foxx of Foxx's Transformation Art. The contest/challenge, obviously, was to draw or write a Minnie Mouse transformation, transgendered preferred. (I'll let you guys know how that goes.)

Anyway, about the pic. This is based on the old Disney Afternoon cartoon block that aired in the early 90's, featuring shows like DuckTales, TaleSpin, and (believe it or not) Gargoyles. I based it off the intro to the cartoon block, which consists of a bunch of pencils and paintbrushes coming down to create the characters in the block, and those are its lyrics used in the background. Minnie Mouse wasn't really in the Disney Afternoon opening or any of its shows, but that's a minor technicality.

One of my initial ideas was to color the human half traditionally with colored pencils while the Minnie half got the digital treatment, to help furthur imply the toon transformation. But due to the background being digital, having part of the character done traditionally wouldn't have looked right, and I really didn't know whether the idea would look right to begin with. I originally wanted to draw a little girl transforming her big brother using a magic wand or something. But I procrastinated so long on getting it started that I wound up coming with this idea just a couple days ago, and decided I liked this better. I did put thicker lines round the toonified portions, though. Or at least tried to.

I was hoping that I'd be able to smooth out some of the transformation, mainly the change from guy's shirt to Minnie's dress. But all blurring/smudging wound up doing was making an ugly mess. And once again I find that there wasn't as much transformation progress as I initially tried for, but hopefully you can still tell it's a guy being painted into Minnie Mouse. Unless you've never heard of transgendered transformations, in which case I'm fine if you thought he was a girl.

You know, I've noticed that just about every picture I make lately has one glaring mistake in it. Can you guess what it is this time? Here's a hint: Normally, it's my favorite animalistic feature.

Edit: Bah, I just realized, when I cropped the bottom of the image off (empty space), I forgot to turn the proportion option off and it cropped a bit off the side, too. I wish that option wasn't automatically checked.

Update: It's official. Foxx didn't recieve my entry. I figure somewhere along the line the trojan on my comptuter spammed an e-mail to him and my address got put in his spam filter.

It is obvious, don't worry!
That's actually kinda scary. I've feared Minny mouse since I started playing Kingdom Hearts...
